Two students from Delhi Public School, Jharkhand, have achieved academic distinction after the re-evaluation of Class XII results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Avni Kejriwal of DPS Ranchi secured a perfect score of 500 out of 500 marks to become the national topper in the commerce stream, while Aditya Mishra of DPS Bokaro scored 498 out of 500 after re-evaluation, becoming the joint national topper in the science stream.

Avni recorded an aggregate score of 95.2% in the initial result declared in the month of May. She scored perfect marks in Accountancy, Economics, and Applied Mathematics, alongside lower scores in English and Business Studies. Dissatisfied with her results, she initiated a re-evaluation process for those subjects.
