Ranchi: South Eastern Railway (SER) has crossed Rs 10,000 crore in freight revenue in the current financial year 2026-27, achieving the milestone on October 13, ten days earlier than last year. According to a press release issued by SER on Friday, the zone had crossed the mark on October 25 in 2025-26.
Freight revenue has increased by 5.89% compared with the corresponding period last year. Freight loading has also registered growth. As of October 14, SER transported 114.17 million tonnes of goods, against 108.03 million tonnes during the corresponding period last year.
