Ranchi: “Jharkhand is a relatively safe state as far as natural disasters are concerned. But given the natural calamities that are happening everywhere in the world, and buildings crumbling like a pack of cards, special attention must be paid to quality and long-term utility in the infrastructure built here. Development projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframes and that there be no compromise on the quality of work,” Dipika Pandey Singh, minister for Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj in the state, said on Tuesday at an event organised on the occasion of the 59th Engineers’ Day by the Jharkhand Engineering Service Association (JESA).
