Dhanbad: A one-day Mega Help Desk Camp will be organised at all polling stations across Dhanbad district on Saturday, October 10, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) of electoral rolls. The initiative aims to resolve pending voter-related issues, assist eligible citizens in completing documentation, and ensure that all eligible voters are included in the electoral roll.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan said the camps would provide assistance to voters facing difficulties during the revision process. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) will hold their fourth meeting at each polling station. A Chunav Pathshala will also be organised to create awareness about voter registration and electoral procedures.
Special assistance will be provided to eligible voters who received notices due to ‘no mapping’ or other discrepancies during SIR-2026 but have not yet submitted the required documents.
