Ranchi: Police have registered an FIR against 150 unknown persons in connection with the stampede-like situation in front of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association stadium in Dhurwa during the Jharkhand T20 final on June 23.
Paras Rana, Superintendent of Police (City), said that the case was registered after a preliminary inquiry. He said that the people who were trying to push each other and break open the stadium’s gate have been made accused, adding that they would be identified through the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage.
