Jaipur: Three members of a family, including a child, died after lightning struck a hut in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh district, police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Monday night in Loonkhanda village when the victims were staying in the hut to guard their crops.
Family members sleeping in another nearby hut rushed to the spot after hearing thunder and found the three seriously injured. They were taken to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
