Ranchi: A man was shot at and critically injured near the Maulana Azad Colony under the Namkum area of Ranchi city on Wednesday evening. The victim has been identified as Shamsher, the son of Hazi Saud Alam, head of a Muslim religious organization. He was undergoing treatment in a local hospital, as per the latest report. Police have reached the spot and started an investigation. An empty cartridge has been recovered so far. Meanwhile, the incident has sent shock waves among the residents of the locality.
