Fake social media ID misuses Giridih DC’s Identity, administration warns public

Giridih: The Giridih district administration has warned citizens about a fake social media account allegedly misusing the name and identity of Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav to mislead people and commit cyber fraud. According to the administration, information has been received that the fake account is being used to deceive people. Citizens have been urged to remain alert and avoid acting on suspicious messages or financial requests without proper verification.

The administration clarified that creating fake social media accounts using the name, designation, photograph or identity of a government official is a serious offence. Those found involved in such activities will face strict legal action as per the law.
